Congratulations on you decision to rid your life of junk mail and viruses! The following is a "starter kit" to help you setup and customization your personal message center.
You first must login to the message center. Click on the following link to go to the login screen:
Enter your complete email address and password and don't forget to check the "Remember Me!" checkbox so you won't have to enter your login and password every time you enter your message center (see "Logging Out"). If you have trouble at this step, click "Help" or call our office for assistance.
The initial/default settings for your message center have been set to aggressively filter all types of junk mail and viruses. If you wish to change any of your settings, do the following after logging in to your message center:
1. Click on the "Junk Email" link.
2. Click on "Filter Categories", check/uncheck as desired and click "Save Changes".
3. Click on "Filter Sensitivity", choose the level of aggressiveness that suits you.
The most lenient setting may still let some junk mail through to your mailbox, and the most aggressive setting may cause some desirable email to get filtered, so experiment with the sensitivity setting.
Remember to visit your message center frequently in the beginning, not only to deliver messages that get accidentally filtered, but also to delete the junk messages that are in there. That way, the program will "learn" more about your email preferences.
When you choose to "deliver" a message from the message center to your mailbox, you have the option of adding the sender to your "approved" list so they won't be subject to filtering in the future.
